The foundation and arrival and pioneers: January 31st 2024
Sr Jeyarani, the Provincial Superior on her canonical visit to Uganda, received an invitation from the order of Camillus Fathers serving in USA. It was to serve at Life Plan Community (Senior Care programme) at West Wisconsin Ave, Wauwatosa, USA and also to assist in the Pastoral work of the Mother of Perpetual Help Parish at West Allis, Wisconsin.
Srs Divya Roopa, Nithya Sri, Lincy Augustine, Sujatha D Souza and Vita Lobo were chosen to form the first community. Since Sr Nithya Sri’s Visa didn’t come through other four of them landed in the US on the 31st January 2024. After three months Sr Nithya Sri also joined them.

- Re-evangelize the families of the parish
- Instill faith in Children, youth and adults
- To bring care, comfort and hope to the sick and the dying
Apostolates of the Community
The parish has a significant number of members who are living alone and in their senior years and hence Pastoral work is a vital aspect of our ministry here in the US that provides social, physical, emotional and physical support to individuals and communities.
The community is involved in Pastoral as well health ministry which includes:
- Taking Holy Communion to the homebound
- Making home visits and sharing parish updates and parish upcoming events
- Encouraging seniors to engage in parish life
- Uplifting spirits through conversation, listening and presence
- Funeral arrangements
- Coordinating the catechism classes
- Preparing the children for 1st Reconciliation and Holy Communion
- Preparing the children in liturgical services
- Visiting the families of the students of catechism praying with them.
- Leading prayers in the parish like Rosary, Adoration and special events
- Getting involved in various ministries of the parish like human concern, Christian women, prayer meeting of Adorers etc.
We serve at the Life Plan community-Senior Care Facility run by the Camillus Order. Sisters serve at memory Care, Assisted living and Jesuit Residence.
