Patroness for Educational Apostolate: Mother Marie-Des Anges

The educational institutions of the Sisters of St Joseph of Tarbes are inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and are guided by the socio-economic and political goals enshrined in the Constitution of India. Providing quality and affordable education to all has been considered one of the key mission of the Province. The Educational policy of the congregation is shaped on the two focal areas of preferential option for the poor and the marginalized and making quality education accessible to all. The sisters work in 5 diocesan schools in four southern states of India.   The SJT sisters work in 23 educational institutions, educating the students from Kindergarten to Post Graduation.
